Looking for cultural opportunities for your Ethiopian born children? The Ethiopian Community Center has an ongoing program, detailed below. There is no fee but donations are appreciated.
After-School program
We serve all youth between the ages of 6-18.
The goals of the program are:
To promote academic achievements
To encourage youth involvement in community activities and issues
To help foster to idea of creating positive social change
To give them cultural education and help them to adopt to the new one
Monday – Thursday: 2:00pm-5:00pm
Homework assistance/tutoring
Friday 1:00pm-3:00pm
Art and craft, and
3:00pm-5:00pm
Amharic Class
Saturday 11:00am-1:00pm
Sports (soccer and others)
